Fine Artist/Illustrator currently based in Southeastern Minnesota

As people grow up, they tend to lose a sense of wonder, imagination, and carefreeness. My mission as an artist is to create pieces with bright, saturated colors and playful themes, providing a resource for viewers to reconnect with those feelings and reminding them to see the joy in the ordinary.

A Message About AI

Laura Rezac Art is strongly against the use of generative AI (artificial intelligence) in art and has never, and will never, use generative AI in her work.

AI “art” takes away valuable jobs from hardworking artists. AI may work faster and cost less, but is it really worth it? The results typically look much cheaper and are full of mistakes and inaccuracies.

AI has also been fed several artists’ work without their consent to train its models, essentially “stealing” their likeness, personal styles, and work in general.

Not only is generative AI harmful to artists, but it also takes a toll on the environment by using up a great amount of electricity and water resources.

Laura advises her audience to learn to spot AI generated “art” and to stop creating it, sharing it, and buying it. Instead, purchase work from local, hardworking, and ethical artists.
